When Hadassah University Medical Center Senior Anesthesiologist Dr. David Gozal and his wife Gabrielle, a Hadassah nurse, participated in the annual Spring Valley half-marathon in northern Israel, Dr. Gozal found himself aiding an unconscious diabetic he saw on the side of the road as he was running.
